Musang Performs Survival Feat

Hello... this is Musang. He is actually a cat but I personally believe that he is a fox impersonating a cat.. and he's very good. The origin of Musang remains a mystery. He is not in any way relative to any of my 10 living cats or the deceased ones. He started pretending to be a family during the middle of July 2007. He enters end exits the house quietly and swiftly, eating Friskies and Machiko without feeling a slight of guilt. He acts as he have known the other cats since birth. Cunning(deceiving) as he is, Musang is almost undetectable except for Ning and Chang.
I called him Musang because in some ways he resembles a fox (guess he didn't transform well). I myself was deceived at times, thinking that he is a part of the family. However his mischievousness is not the main topic here but an incident where he made a quite remarkable feat.

One morning about a month ago, my father as usual hopped into his car to go to work. Just as he was about to enter the federal highway, he heard thumping sounds on the roof of his car. He quickly steered to a nearby Petronas to see what made the noises. To his surprise he saw Musang who had just woken up from his sleep on the roof of the car. Shaken and shocked with an unfamiliar environment Musang ran away and disappeared into a block of shop houses nearby. This Petronas station is about 1 kilometre away from my house.

In the next morning I heard Chang screaming as he had always done to Musang (by this time Ning was already missing). It is then when I saw a familiar figure coming down from the roof of my house, walking proudly on the front porch before lying down under my mother's car. It was the mischievous, deceitful Musang!!
I don't know how he managed to find his way back as he have to go through a block of shop houses, three blocks of houses and a main road to get back here.

Which then strengthens my feeling that he is a real fox.

- Musang is celebrating Hari raya haji at my house besides keep terrorizing my other cats.

APS Family Day 2OO7

Seperti sewaktu kita sekolah rendah, nampaknya kewajipan menyertai sidang hari keluarga memang tak pernah dikecualikan sehinggalah di alam pekerjaan. Memang keluarga tu penting.

hatta frasa "pinjam mata awak"..

jadi lain kali berhati2 apabila membenarkan Ebby Yus meminjam mata..
nampak je comel tapi buas macam beruang bukit..

Why are Malaysians one of the Rudests?

Once there was an international poll and Malaysia was high-ranked in the list of rudest countries. The ministers retaliated by saying that no, Malaysia is the softest spot in the Asian Pacific map.
Unfortunately, we are rude.

Just take your car out to the road and you'll see why. It is a battleground out there. No wonder the road is one of Malaysia's successful population control scheme.

Politeness are only for westerners and sometimes they had to be Caucasians.

p/s: I hate it when people have broken tail lights. But being so Malaysian, I have never bothered to check mine.

Sebab Sebenar Kesukaran Komunikasi Sel

Resizing Your Pictures Efficiently!

First of all, I don't know why I'm writing about this. This is too serious.

Ok now, for you digital camera owners out there, size does matter. Contrary to popular belief, the size of your pictures matter only for a certain extent. You don't really need picture qualities up to 7 or 12 megapixels, unless you are making a poster or you are working for National Geographic.

As far as I know most digicam consumers upload pictures into their computers and switch on the the slideshow button. And that's it. All those large megapixels are merely for blowing up your pictures to unnecessary scales. I don't think there's the necessity to look at pictures of your relatives eating kuih raya in A4 sizes. I myself sets my 7 Mpixel camera to use only 1 MPixels.

Okay let me get straight to the point. My problem came when my mother's Casio camera has a minimum setting of 2 Megapixels. It is quite space consuming. The size of one picture is more than 1 Mb. You can however resize your pictures down to 1/8th of the original without compensating the quality.

First of all, you have to download a handy tool called the image resizer, which you can obtain from Microsoft's Website or directly from this link. Install the software normally, and after the installation you will notice a new option when you right click on any picture. You will see a command to "resize pictures".

When you click the option a small window will appear asking you for the new size of your picture. Select Advanced--> Custom and it will allow you to set any size to your picture.

Now the trick is that you should set your pictures to the same size as the original. Say the width of the original picture is 1600 pixels, so insert the same number. And you only have to specify the width since the software automatically constraints the proportions of your pictures. Then press OK.

The best thing about this software is that you can apply it to multiple pictures simultaneously. Just select an eventful of pictures and right click. You should get your pictures ready in minutes. Although you reduce the picture in capacity size, the quality is not deterred, at least to the naked eye. This is a more practical way than using an image editor, for just merely to resize your pictures. Well, enjoy!
